Garron Frith is a guitar man from Mossley, England who over the last few years has become one of the most exciting voices and acoustic guitar players in the North West, gigging relentlassley as headliner and support act, opening shows for Ian McCulloch, Madeleine Peyroux, Imelda May and the late great Jack Bruce among others.
Garron has released two albums to critical acclaim, his second album “Away From The Bright Lights” was described as blues folk gospel record with a nod to influences like Ronnie Lane, John Martyn and Lindsey Buckingham, It was voted best roots albums the year by Moorlands radio, best top 50 albums of the year – DE KRENTEN UIT DE POP and made it to number 16 in the European Americana Charts. Both albums have gained Garron new found support within the singer/ Songrwriter circles, prompting Graham Gouldman to ask Garron to be his support act for the last two tours he had done. With plays on Radio 2, BBC6 Music as well as local and Worldwide radio, a growing fanbase Garron is slowly but steadily gaining the recognition he deserves. The new album “Skiffler” is currenlty being recorded and will be released later this year.
